Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, Sam is the first person in his family to be a firefighter. He met his wife while working in private EMS before getting on with Tucson Fire Department. Sam has been a medic for 5 years and a Firefighter for 3 years. On his off-time he likes to play music, spend time outdoors, and travel with his wife. He also works part-time with the local community college’s firefighter training program.
