Andrew Cordova
Rookie COAndrew came to the NMCD with a unique combination of experiences. He grew up on the crime-riddled streets of Northern Albuquerque, where as a teenager, he hung around with the wrong crowd. After a conscious decision to turn his life around, Andrew worked at a county jail and later in the oil fields of North Dakota.
As a Corrections Officer in PNM’s most dangerous Level 6, he learns more every day about working in one of the most complicated and dangerous working environments on the planet and mastering the job that forces him to come face-to-face with rapists, murderers, and gang members who take pleasure in preying on weakness.
