At 36 years old, Israel is older than the average rookie CO. Israel struggled his entire life with finding a long-term career. After stints as a beer systems installer and a music DJ, Israel still felt unfulfilled, so he left his wife and house by the beach to challenge himself with a career in corrections.

Israel’s maturity and mellow temperament are his biggest strengths as a rookie, but the inmates could see his quiet personality as a weakness. Everything is on the line for Israel, including his marriage, which is already strained by the long distance relationship. He’s risked everything to fulfill his childhood dreams to work in law enforcement and he can’t afford to return home as a failure.
